These are trying times to say the least, and acupuncture and Chinese herbs are some of the best things we can do for our bodies, minds and spirits. As a way to minimize the spread of Covid-19 and support social distancing measures, Davis Community Acupuncture Clinic will be offering one-on-one and small group acupuncture sessions. I'll be seeing people one at a time, or in groups that are comfortable together in the clinic. (limit 4 people per appointment slot)

Here's what the visit will entail:
-First off, I'll ask you to cancel if you develop any of the Covid symptoms we've all been hearing about (no charge for last minute cancellations in this case): sore throat, fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell, etc
-I'll ask that you wear a mask the whole time you're in the clinic. I'll do the same.
-Text or knock when you arrive and I'll check your temperature at the door (be prepared to wait outside or in your car if the previous patient hasn't left yet)
-I have liquid hand sanitizer available at the front door and outside the restroom, and powerful air filters running
-I can treat you in a recliner (they're going to be completely covered by a sheet) or on a table if you prefer
-You and I will be the only people in the office for the duration of your visit
-I'll do my best to clean high contact surfaces throughout the office and the restroom between each visitor
-The bins that were under the chairs have been taken out of circulation, so any personal belongings you bring in can be left on the carpet or on the seat with you
-The cost will be $80-$120 sliding scale for a single person, or $50-$70 each for more than one at the same appointment

About Itay (pronounced like eat-tie)

I've been practicing acupuncture since 2002 and in that time I've worked in a wide array of settings, including on a cruise ship. None of those has been as rewarding as working at the Davis Community Acupuncture Clinic. I founded this clinic in 2008, and I’m proud that the clinic has been able to provide tens of thousands of treatments since then in an affordable and sustainable way.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve.

2860 West Covell Blvd (near the intersection with Lake Blvd) in West Davis.

We are at the northwest end of town on Covell Blvd. We are west of Safeway, 113, Sutter Hospital and the UHaul. If you get to Lake Blvd (going west, towards Winters), you just past us. The street numbers are not easy to see, so look for the "Davis Community Acupuncture Clinic" sign high up on the building.
